About this blog
Why
There is something oddly addictive about researching and learning how to best live life. There is something deeply satisfying putting that research to use, solving practical problems in an elegant way. And it feels right to share the fruits of this labour with others, to hopefully free up your time so you can get on with enjoying life.
What
The purpose of this blog is to help you be more productive and streamlined in your daily lives, through what I call ergonomic organisation: helpful tools and systems, coupled with organised processes and thinking. ErgoOrgo will help you by sharing the experience, tips and tricks that I discover or learn.
This is a blog for people like me, who view technology (in whatever form) as a tool to improve:
- how we use, manage and organise stuff
- how we travel, write, create
- how we consume and live.
How
There are a range of other blogs out there with similar aims. Many are great and I read them avidly (and link to them often). ErgoOrgo’s added value to the blogosphere is threefold:
- it focuses on the best of the best
- it curates and synthesizes differing opinions into coherent and clear views.
- it brings my unique views to the kinds of topics listed above
What next
I hope this blog will be constructive and useful for those interested in a more organised, streamlined, if still geeky life. So… please enjoy and feel free to contact me or post comments. Your views and debate will help benefit my own views, as well as those of other readers.
Who
If you want to know who I am, go and read a little about me.
